Prompt Library
Your Prompt Library is your central hub for all the prompts you create or copy from templates.
Creating New Prompts
- From the Library page, click the “New Prompt” button.
- A modal will appear. Fill in:
- Prompt Title: A clear name for your prompt.
- Description (Optional): What this prompt does or is used for.
- Tags (Optional): Keywords for easy searching.
- (Folder): Choose which folder to save it in (defaults to the currently selected folder or “My Prompts”).
- Click “Create & Edit Content” to open the Prompt Editor.
Organizing with Folders
Keep your prompts organized using folders and sub-folders.
Creating Folders
- To create a root folder, click the “New” button at the top of the folder list in the sidebar.
- To create a sub-folder, hover over an existing folder in the sidebar, and click the
+
(plus) icon that appears. - Enter a name for your folder and submit.
Managing Folders
- Viewing Folder Contents: Click on a folder name in the sidebar to see the prompts it contains.
- Renaming Folders: Hover over a folder, click the pencil icon, type the new name, and save.
- Deleting Folders: Hover over a folder, click the trash can icon, and confirm.
- Moving Folders (Drag & Drop): Click and drag a folder onto another folder in the sidebar to make it a sub-folder. Drag it to the “All Prompts” area or an empty space to make it a root folder.

Viewing Prompts
- Toggle between Grid View (shows cards) and List View using the view mode buttons.
Working with Prompts
- Editing a Prompt: Click on a prompt card/item or its edit icon to open it in the Prompt Editor.
- Deleting a Prompt: Click the trash can icon on a prompt card/item and confirm.
- Moving Prompts to Folders:
- Drag & Drop: Click and drag a prompt card (from grid view) or the drag handle (from list view) and drop it onto the desired folder in the sidebar.
- Menu: Click the “Move to folder” icon (looks like a folder with an arrow) on a prompt card/item, then select the destination folder from the dropdown.
Searching and Filtering
- Search by Name: Use the search bar at the top of the library to find prompts by their title.
- Filter by Tags: If you click on a tag on a prompt card, the library will filter to show only prompts with that tag. You can clear tag filters from the “Active Tag Filters” section that appears.
Best Practices
- Keep related prompts together in the same folder for easy access.
- Use descriptive names for your prompts and folders.
- Add relevant tags to make finding prompts easier.
- Delete unused prompts to keep your library clean.
