Prompt Library

Your Prompt Library is your central hub for all the prompts you create or copy from templates.

Creating New Prompts

  1. From the Library page, click the “New Prompt” button.
  2. A modal will appear. Fill in:
    • Prompt Title: A clear name for your prompt.
    • Description (Optional): What this prompt does or is used for.
    • Tags (Optional): Keywords for easy searching.
    • (Folder): Choose which folder to save it in (defaults to the currently selected folder or “My Prompts”).
  3. Click “Create & Edit Content” to open the Prompt Editor.

Organizing with Folders

Keep your prompts organized using folders and sub-folders.

Creating Folders

  • To create a root folder, click the “New” button at the top of the folder list in the sidebar.
  • To create a sub-folder, hover over an existing folder in the sidebar, and click the + (plus) icon that appears.
  • Enter a name for your folder and submit.

Managing Folders

  • Viewing Folder Contents: Click on a folder name in the sidebar to see the prompts it contains.
  • Renaming Folders: Hover over a folder, click the pencil icon, type the new name, and save.
  • Deleting Folders: Hover over a folder, click the trash can icon, and confirm.
  • Moving Folders (Drag & Drop): Click and drag a folder onto another folder in the sidebar to make it a sub-folder. Drag it to the “All Prompts” area or an empty space to make it a root folder.

Searching and Filtering

  • Search by Name: Use the search bar at the top of the library to find prompts by their title.
  • Filter by Tags: If you click on a tag on a prompt card, the library will filter to show only prompts with that tag. You can clear tag filters from the “Active Tag Filters” section that appears.

Best Practices

  • Keep related prompts together in the same folder for easy access.
  • Use descriptive names for your prompts and folders.
  • Add relevant tags to make finding prompts easier.
  • Delete unused prompts to keep your library clean.
